meI’m a freelance editor, sub-editor, journalist and proofreader with a fierce love of all things feminist, food and music. In 2009, I founded the girls are, the UK’s only magazine dedicated to women in music. In the winter of 2013, I launched its first print edition (TGA magazine), now sold globally, with Neneh Cherry, Brody Dalle, Kim Gordon, tUnE-yArDs, and Warpaint gracing its covers.

I’m a regular fixture on the arts, culture and feature desks at The Guardian, and my words have appeared on NME, Great British Chefs, The Fly, The Line of Best Fit and Australian Times.

I’m a devout foodie and blog as The Piglet, and can be found spinning 90s slow-jams and feminist anthems at various clubs in London.
